At 3 months he is turning into quite the little ham. His laughs make me laugh...his smiles make me smile. He has his own little language and I can never get enough of it. He sleeps like an angel at night...but seems to find that our household is just too darn exciting to dare close his eyes when it's daylight. He's not one for sitting still and loves to be on the move. It doesn't really matter if it's in the swing swaying forward and back, riding along through town in the infant seat of our mini van, strapped to mommy's chest as she goes through her daily duties, or even rocked back and forth in the arms of one of his sisters. He loves to eat...and I love to be able to feed him; certainly some of my most favorite moments...where it's just him and me...me and him...and life is incredibly good.
He really is turning into quite the little guy! so handsome! I love reading your blogs...you have a way with words! Wish we could talk more in real life~
I love your photos!!!! If you wouldn't mind, I am wondering a few things: 1. Are you a professional photographer? 2. Do you use "props" such as lighting and back drops when you take some of your photos? 3. Your children are beautiful!!!!!! 4. Any hints would help. I am a Mom of three with a new camera, canon eos rebel and I want great photos too!
Anonymous...No I am not a professional photographer...Just a mommy like you wanting to take some good pictures of my kids and be able to hold on to the memories of their youth. As far as lighting goes, I do not have any studio lights if that is what you are asking. And I prefer not to use my camera's built in flash because I don't like the way it seems to alter my images...it's just a little too harsh. Some of the more "portrait" looking shots you might see of my kids are done in front of a backdrop that I have placed in a room in my house in which I am able to draw a lot of natural light from outdoors. I'd love to talk to you more...so feel free to email me jessesvoboda@msn.com!!!
