Thornden Park
I have always loved taking the kids to Thornden Park. It certainly is a fun place to adventure on a beautiful spring day. More importantly though, while we are there, I get to share with the kids a piece of their history. It's neat to be able to tell them stories about where their Mommy and Daddy got married and to show them exactly where it all took place. And when I take them to the spot in which their Mommy and Daddy exchanged their first kiss as "Mr. and Mrs." that REALLY brings smiles to their faces...and of course, lots of giggles.
Here are a few of my favorite images from our most recent trip...
We stopped midway through our excursion to enjoy a picnic lunch in the ampitheatre at the park. The kids liked pretending they were watching a show on the big stage while they were eating. Then Ella decided to get up there and put on a show of her own...dancing and twirling like quite the little princess.

Your photography is amazing! I love looking at the pictures of your kids! Having a husband that travels for work is not easy! I always wonder how you manage to keep things together when your husband is gone for so long!! I am due mid-June... almost 30 weeks!
Beautiful, beautiful!
Beautiful pictures! I'm glad to see a post from you. I've been wondering what you have been up to.
Very nice... they are so cute and you capture them wonderfully!
Beautiful, as always. I love looking through your photos and aspiring to do as well someday. I loved the pics you took of Johanna's children, btw!
