Exploring

One of the nice things about being home with the kids, is the opportunity we have to go exploring throughout our days together. Going on nature walks, scouting out the scenery and adventuring on new trails. Days like these, we are never in a hurry to get anywhere and don't really have any particular agenda. We hunt down the best walking sticks, investigate mysterious bugs and of course, pick a few sweet smelling flowers. It's days like these that I enjoy my kids the most. When it's just the kids and me...me and the kids...no chores, no phones, no bills...just us and our simple, cherished adventures.
