A funny story

Last night, Patrick and I were in Wegmans with the kids picking up some goodies to bring home for icecream sundaes. When we were checking out, a front end manager who happens to be one of Patrick's close friends from high school came over to say hello to us. After she walked away, Ella asked me who that was. Once I finished explaining to her that Francesca and Daddy went to school together, Ella turned to Patrick (in what seemed to us as her loudest voice ever) "Daddy, do you have a girlfriend?" Much to my contentment, Patrick responded by saying, "Yes Ella, my girlfriend is your MOMMY!" Oh, the silly things our children say!
