Riding Bikes
Cassidy received a new bike from her "Camp" Nana and Papa at her party on Saturday and she just has not wanted to stop riding it since! And gosh, how quickly she caught on to the pedaling and even steering! She is quite the coordinated one. (Where she got that from, I don't really know.) Anyway, Cassidy is doing so well on her new bike she's even able to keep up with her big sister!
It's a bird, it's a plane...no, it's Brody in a pink teddy bear helmet! This is just one hand-me-down that we certainly cannot let him wear again. Is he going to hate me when he sees this picture 15 years down the road?
Making sure it's a perfect fit!
Patrick thought it would be quite amusing to take Ella's princess bike for a little spin (I'm not too sure if he even knows I snapped this picture!) The girls thought it was quite hysterical. I was certainly pleased the thing didn't break in two (not that my handsome husband needs to lose weight or anything...but seriously, isn't there a size limit for these things?)
Patrick is all about having a good time with his children...in fact sometimes I think he is a child himself. Tomorrow morning he is scheduled to go out of town for another assignment and we are all going to be missing him. This time he will be in Buffalo where the phone company is getting ready to launch their new video service (FYI: it's coming to Syracuse this December for all you Verizon supporters out there!) He could be away for up to 30 days...and I'm wondering how our children are going to handle it. The longest they've been without their Daddy is two weeks...that also means that's the longest I've been without my husband.

30 days all at one time? Oh my gosh! I couldn't handle it. You must be a very supportive wife Jess!
