Heaven

The girls were working on their last weekly assignment in their AWANA books. The lesson was from the book of Revelation and John's writings about the beautiful place Jesus is making for us in heaven. In the assignment, they were asked to draw a picture of some things they thought would be in heaven. In Gabriella's workbook, she drew a picture of a group of people all clumped together. I asked her what it was and she told me, "In heaven I think there will be lots of people." I then leaned over Cassidy's shoulder to check in on her progress. In her own book, Cassidy had drawn two different pictures of two individuals lying down on the ground with a rainbow sky above them. I of course asked her who was lying there on her paper and she told me that it was her Great Candy Nana and her Great Candy Papa. "They are in heaven Mommy," she told me.
