Cassidy takes a tumble

Poor little Cas. This morning the kids and I had all come downstairs for breakfast when Ella and Cassidy decided they wanted to "get married" (again!). Cassidy of course had to go back upstairs real quick to put on some "boy clothes" for her and Ella's wedding. As I was standing in the kitchen, pouring the last bowl of cereal, I heard Cassidy run from her bedroom to the top of the stairs and all of a sudden there was a thumpity, thump, thump, thump and my baby girl was tumbling to the ground. Thank God our pediatrician's office is open on Saturdays. After a visit in to see our beloved Dr. Kim, Cassidy came home with a confirmed broken nose and swollen wrist. Let me tell you what a trooper our little peanut is! She's been such a tough cookie...even with all her bumps and bruises!



Unfortunately Patrick was at work during all of this, but called home as often as he could to see how Cassidy was doing. When she heard his voice on that phone, did her face ever light up! She truly is her Daddy's Little Girl!
