Cassidy Update

The pediatrician wanted to recheck Cassidy this morning so thankfully Patrick was able to take some time off to bring her in. To play it safe with her swollen wrist, they decided to send her out for x-rays and we are glad to report back that her wrist is definitely not broken. As for Cassidy's poor little button nose, she is being referred to an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist to assess the extent of the damage. They are concerned there may be injury to the septum and just want to ensure there won't be any breathing or sinus complications with that in the future. She has been such a good sport through all of this. Patrick said that the x-ray technician had been taking x-rays for twenty-something years and never had a two year old sit so nicely...they were even able to get a good picture on the first try! Cassidy got to go out to lunch with her Daddy after her whole ordeal so that sure was a special treat. She decided she wanted him to take her to "Old McDonald's" for some french fries and chicken McNuggets. Can you guess what our little sweetie said as she pulled the toy out of her Happy Meal when the two of them sat down to eat? Cassidy said, "I'm going to take this home to Ella!"
