Playing Catch-up

I've certainly been having a lot of trouble keeping up with my blogging! Friday night, Uncle Chris and his soon to be new wife Aunt Darlene invited the kids and I over for dinner. The kids sure enjoyed feeding their dog Harley a tub full of treats. And Ella and Cassidy got to try their hand at darts for the first time. To round off the evening, the girls enjoyed watching one of the Shrek movies on Uncle Chris's big flat screen. I looked over at one point (after the round of wrestling with the "stuffed" Harley look-a-like) to see Ella snuggled up against Chris with her arm around the back of his neck. Certainly missing her father, Ella went for the next best thing...his brother.

Cassidy had her appointment with the Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist this morning and I am happy to report that there has been no internal damage to her septum. Her pretty little button nose is almost back to normal!



ALL of our kids have absolutely loved making silly faces into this little cover thingy in the bath tub (hard to know the technical names of some of these things without my hubby here to correct me)! Last night at bath time I was able to capture Cassidy peering at her reflection. She's a beautiful little girl!
