At the park

The kids and I took a walk to the park near our house this morning and they had a blast running, sliding, swinging and just being out in the fresh air! This is the first season Brody has been able to really climb everything on his own without one of us holding his hand and going up and down with him. He absolutely loves the "swirly slide" and must have gone down it about a million times today alone. The girls were playing what they call "action girls" which I have come to learn is their own little version of "superheros". I saw them doing a lot of "rescuing" of each other and trying to stay out of "danger". We probably could have stayed there all day, but lunch, naps and loads of mommy's school work were waiting for us at home. The kids have already told me they can't wait for their next trip to the playground and certainly neither can I!
