Just One More Story

Sometimes when we are running really late, I let the girls pick out only one book each for me to read to them at bedtime (instead of their usual 50 million). Gabriella has decided that if she puts a few books inside of each other, I might still think it is only one. Tonight was one of those occasions. As I walked into the girl's room to read, Gabriella said to me with a smile, "Okay mom, I picked out a short one!" (As if she thought she could fool her own MOTHER!)

A love for reading is something I have tried to foster within my children since they were in the womb. So tonight we read Ella's conglomerate of books all rolled into one, as well as Cassidy's choice (would you believe me if I told you she picked out a chapter book with no pictures?) and of course a few more added in at the end.

I just figured out how to comment on these things! You're girls are adorable. I hope our boys like to read just as much - it's looking that way soo far.
