Mother's Day

One of my fondest memories of my mother when I was growing up was the music she brought into our home. Being something that is important to me to to be able to carry on into my own children's lives, this Mother's Day weekend I opened up my old dusty music books, sat down at the piano and just played for the kids. The notes may not have flowed from the pages quite the way they used to when my mother played, but I enjoyed sharing in it all with the kids; watching them dance around the room as I played, listening to them make up their own words to go with the tune, and feeling them climb up beside me to clank out their own melody. Music is truly a wonderful gift...thank you Mom!

You are entirely welcome :) It was always my pleasure to play. I loved it most before everyone had their own stereo and their own TV and had nothing to turn up to drown me out. (haha) I still play often and imagine a little girl singing along getting ready for another perfomance. You are still a star in my eyes (and in my heart) Love Ya
