Preparing the Garden

Over the weekend, Patrick and the kids worked on getting their garden ready for planting in a few weeks. Patrick pulled out the old (and enormous) rototiller and the kids grabbed their rakes and shovels to help prepare the soil. Ella was on the hunt for worms and must have found 100 of them. She certainly thought they were just the coolest thing. Cassidy thought the noise from the rototiller was too loud so Patrick let her borrow his ear protectors that he uses when running the mower. I think she must have ran around the yard with those things on her ears all weekend. Brody was just happy to be outside being with his big sisters and Daddy and of course...getting dirty.
