Grandparents

This afternoon, my sister and I brought our families up to Black River to enjoy some time with our parents and grandparents. Grandma and Grandpa have acres of woods that butt up against their property, so we took the kids for a walk to enjoy the scenery. It reminded me a lot of when I was a kid myself and the summer stays I used to spend up there. I never knew back then that I would ever be able to share that with my own children...it's just neat that they are able to walk the paths that I did back when I wasn't really much older than they are now. It was a beautiful sight.

My Dad and the girls...
Whenever I see my Grandpa, he always says something to the effect when it is time to leave, "We live down by the river...drop in sometime." So today my parents took the kids to show them just what river their Great Grandpa is always talking about.

It's nice to be able to share those times with your children. I love the picture of Nikki and Rosco.
