Happy Birthday to my Little Man!

In March of 2007, Patrick and I were surprised to find out we were expecting another little blessing from God. I remember sitting in a sonogram appointment not too long afterwards when I was told that we were going to be having a son. Patrick was elated and couldn't help but point out all his 'boy parts" on the ultrasound screen. As for me, I couldn't see a thing through my tears. We were actually having our first baby boy and I simply could not believe it.

Two years ago today our little Brody was born. Every day since then we have thanked God for allowing us to bring him into this world. He truly is a loving little guy... and I can honestly say that I cherish every day I have gotten to spend with him. Whether he is cruising around the yard on his little red tractor, playing at the sink on his "dep dool" (step stool) while I load the dishwasher, barreling through the house with his bubble mower and droopy drawers, sticking his hand in the tub of butter while I prepare his morning toast or standing in front of the pantry door begging for me to give him a "bop pop" (lollipop)...every image I sit here and picture of him brings a smile to my face and of course...a few tears to my eyes. Brody is my son, one of my four greatest blessings...and without question, will always be, my Little Man.
